Getting there by Car / Taxi

The airport is situated on the north coast of the Isle of Barra. It is accessible off the A888, if you take the turning north at Northbay and follow the signs. Taxis can be booked at the airport terminal, or they can be booked in advance.

Getting there by Bus / Coach

A postal bus will collect passengers from the airport and transport them to Castlebay (the main town on the island). Details of buses around the island can be obtained by contacting the local bus company.

Getting there by Ferry

Ferry services between the islands are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne. They also offer a service between the island and mainland Scotland (Oban).
