Getting there by Car / Taxi

The airport is located on the A2, Sydenham By Pass road between Belfast and Holywood, on the southern shore of Belfast Lough. Those approaching Belfast on the M1 or M2, should follow the signs to Belfast City Airport, leading to the A2 via the M3. Approved taxis operate from the airport taxi rank directly outside the terminal building. The approximate cost to Belfast City Centre is £6.00.

Getting there by Bus / Coach

Flexibus operate the Airlink every 30 minutes from the Airport terminal to the Belfast Europa Bus Centre in the heart of the city. The service, Flexibus route No. 600, operates beween 06:00 and 21:50, and costs £2.00 for a single journey. No. 21 Citybus operates every 20 minutes from Sydenham to City Hall. It is a five-minute walk from Airport terminal to the bus stop. The "Airporter" service operates 9 coaches daily to Londonderry.

Getting there by Train

A shuttle bus service operates between the Airport Terminal and the adjacent rail halt at Sydenham. Translink operate a twice hourly rail service Monday-Friday 6am-6pm to Central and Victoria Street Stations and an hourly service after 6pm and Sat and Sun. Connections are available from Central Station to the rest of the rail network in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.
