Directions

Getting there by car

The airport is only ten to fifteen minutes from the town centre and is served by an excellent road network.

From London or anywhere along the M3 corridor take the M3 southbound towards Southampton. Where the M3 joins the M27 follow the westbound directions for Bournemouth.

From the Sussex/Kent coast there is direct access to the M27 via the A27. At its western end the M27 becomes the A31 dual carriageway as it crosses the New Forest.

After the town of Ringwood, exit left onto the A338 dual carriageway and follow the signs for Bournemouth. Five miles along the A338 is the B3073 exit for Bournemouth Airport clearly signposted on your left.

Getting there by bus / coach

Service A1 runs to and from Bournemouth Square and Bournemouth Interchange (the bus and rail station in the town centre) to Bournemouth airport in under half an hour. The bus runs roughly every 2 hours every day. Contact Yellow Coaches for more information.

Getting there by Train

Fast trains connect Bournemouth Travel Interchange with Southampton (35 mins) and London (105 mins). The station is approximately 6 miles from the airport. You can connect with the A1 bus service to the Travel Interchange from Bournemouth Airport. Train times and information can be obtained from National Rail
