Directions

Getting There

From The North leave the M6 at Junction 44 (where the M6 and A74 meet). Take the exit signposted A689 Brampton. At the next roundabout take the first exit, following the A689, and continue to follow the signs for Carlisle Airport. From the East via the A69, follow the A69 as far as the roundabout at Brampton, and take the 2nd exit onto the A689, signposted Carlisle North and Carlisle Airport. From Carlisle city centre there are signs for the A689 towards Brampton, from which you will pick up signs to Carlisle Airport

At the moment there are no direct bus or rail links to Carlisle Airport. The nearest railway stations are located in Carlisle city centre, or the small town of Brampton. Taxis are available from the stand outside the main entrance to Carlisle Railway Station, and also from the main bus station. The approved taxi service is Airbus 2000.
