Traveline provides impartial journey planning information detailing all public transport services - buses, coaches, trains, ferries, trams, metro and underground - throughout England, Wales and Scotland. The service uses information form published public transport timetables and there are links through to major individual transport companies for more detail.

Travellers can use the Traveline website for journey informtion or the telephone service which is available between 8am and 8pm every day (except 25 and 26 December and 1 January) with call centres in some areas providing local transport information over longer hours. When calling you will hear a recorded message, then by selecting 'local information' you will be connected to your local Traveline call centre automatically where possible.
