Getting there by Car / Taxi

Inverness is accessible via the A9 or the A82 when approaching from the south; while the main road when approaching from the north is the A835. From Inverness the easiest route to take is to follow the A96 east, and turn off onto the B9039 where signs will lead you to the airport. There are taxi ranks at the airport terminal and in the town of Inverness. Taxis can be booked in advance.

Getting there by Bus / Coach

There is one service from Inverness town centre to the airport terminal, which runs approximately every forty minutes. This service is the number 11 and is run by Rapsons. For those travelling longer distances, National Express run services to and from Inverness bus station from the various locations in the UK. Contact Rapsons or National Express for further details.

Getting there by Train

The nearest station to the airport is Inverness station. Trains to and from other major destinations, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and Aberdeen can be caught here. Details of timetables can be found by contacting Scotrail. These stations offer connections to a large number of other UK stations, including Newcastle, Durham, London King's Cross and Birmingham.
