Lydd Airport is located 22km south of Ashford, Kent. The airfield was first constructed after the Second World War and has recently undertaken a multi-million pound improvement programme which included 13 acres of brand new apron and a newly regulated and resurfaced runway. Lydd Airport handles about 4,500 passengers a year.
