Getting there by Car / Taxi

The airport is just 4 miles from the city centre and the A38 Devon Expressway links Plymouth to the motorway network at Exeter. The dual carriageway leads directly onto the M5 motorway and the rest of the UK motorway network. The city centre is only a short taxi ride away.

Getting there by Coach

National Express coach services connect the city with other towns and cities across the country.

Getting there by Train

Plymouth railway station is on the main London - Penzance railway line. There is also a branch line from Plymouth to Gunnislake in Cornwall. Rail services are operated by Great Western Trains providing a frequent service throughtout the day and an overnight sleeper to London Paddington and Virgin Trains operate cross-country services to major cities in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland.
